General Questions

What areas do you cover?
We review briefs across Hampstead and London. Submit the postcode and job details, or call +44 20 7101 3168, and we will confirm availability after triage.
How do you check insurance?
We confirm the insurance appropriate to the accepted scope before work starts. Relevant documentation can be requested for the specific job.
How do I get a quote?
Submit a private brief at https://www.hampsteadondemand.co.uk/app/new/ or call +44 20 7101 3168. Straightforward work may be priced from the brief; larger or uncertain scopes may need a site visit first.
Are your quotes fixed-price?
The written quote states whether the work is fixed price or uses another agreed price basis. Any variation to the scope or price must be agreed before we continue.
What guarantee do you provide on work?
Our workmanship is covered for 12 months from completion, subject to the published scope and exclusions. Product and material warranties remain separate.
Do you work on period and listed properties?
We assess briefs for period and listed properties, including the likely consent, material and building-fabric considerations. Appropriate professional advice is involved where the scope requires it.
How quickly can you respond to emergency call-outs?
Call with your postcode and the immediate risk. We will confirm availability, an estimated response time and the emergency or call-out price basis before dispatch wherever circumstances reasonably allow.
Do you handle planning permission applications?
For accepted renovation scopes, we identify whether planning or other professional input is needed and confirm who is responsible before design work proceeds.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is by bank transfer. Small jobs are paid after completion. Larger works use an agreed deposit after quote acceptance and a final bank transfer on completion, unless the written quote sets out agreed milestones.
How do you handle gas and electrical credentials?
Gas work is assigned only to a Gas Safe-registered engineer. Electrical work is assigned to appropriately qualified personnel, with any required registration, notification or certification route confirmed for the job.
Is Hampstead On Demand a marketplace of tradespeople?
No. It is a private project brief portal. Accepted work is delivered in-house through Hampstead Renovations or Hampstead Maintenance — not a marketplace of third-party bidders competing for your job.
Does a listed area or service page guarantee attendance?
No. Service and area pages explain process context. Fit, postcode, access, urgency and current capacity are confirmed for each brief. Submission is not a booking.
