The Challenge

The property had a long history of ad hoc repairs — a mix of copper, plastic, and lead pipework throughout, two different fuse-box systems on different circuits, and insulation that had settled to near zero effectiveness. Coordinating the structural survey, strip-out, and sequenced reinstatement of services across a 20-week programme with a fixed completion date required intensive project management.

Our Solution

A dedicated project manager ran the project with weekly written progress reports to the client. A sequencing matrix was produced in week one, with all seven trade packages given defined access windows. All pipework and wiring was fully replaced. The two fuse boxes were decommissioned and a single new 18th Edition compliant consumer unit installed. Attic insulation was upgraded to 270mm of blown mineral wool.
