How It Works
- 1
Survey, Layout Brief, and Design Consultation
We survey the existing master bathroom — confirming room dimensions, ceiling heights, window positions, drainage locations, and structural constraints. The design brief is established: freestanding bath or built-in, walk-in shower or shower over bath, double or single vanity, and the overall aesthetic direction. We present initial layout options before any design fees are committed.
- 2
Sanitaryware and Tile Selection
We facilitate brand and product selection — arranging visits to showrooms including those of Lefroy Brooks, Samuel Heath, Perrin and Rowe, or Crosswater for fittings, and Stone & Ceramic, Mandarin Stone, or Fired Earth for tiles. Selection of all sanitaryware, tiles, vanity units, and accessories is finalised before installation commences, avoiding delays during the build.
- 3
Full Strip-Out and Substrate Assessment
The existing bathroom is stripped back to the bare structure. We assess the condition of the floor joists, partition walls, and plasterwork. Any damp, rot, or structural defects discovered are remediated before new work commences. Existing drainage positions are noted and the route for any new drainage connections is confirmed.
